Well, I guess the title says it all. Gretta is back home, safe and sound. And since I was feeling handy last week, I also tried fixing up my bike a little bit. Mostly I wanted to re-wrap Trojan’s handlebars, but I decided to fiddle around with the (once again) defunct front derailleur. I didn’t have much luck on the derailleur, but the wrap on the handlebars seems to be holding – which is plenty good for me, anyhow.
Today I was puttin’ out fires. Figuratively, that is. Well, figuratively re-extinguishing out some fires that should have been put out a while ago, let’s say. I headed down to the DMV to clear up a few address changes which had been preventing me from receiving my renewed MN driver’s license. Apparently Seefox runs a bit too fast for the Department of Motor Vehicles. But, hopefully the helpful lady at counter 12 got everything taken care of for me. If not, I have no idea what I’ll do. Start crackin’ skulls maybe, who knows?
While I was downtown, I had to make a stop at a super-secret-cookie-baking location to pick up some super-secretly delicious cookies. I don’t get to go all that often, so naturally, I got two! So, here’s a super secret shout out to the super secret lil’ lady who shared her secret. Shhh!
PS – the cookies are huge.
Well, that’s all I know. Here’s a picture for you to look at.

My guesses: butterscotch chip and dipped peanut butter.
I would have gotten a ginger and a frosted sugar cookie (pink frosting, please.)

Actually, it was the butterscotch and the peanut butter monster. Your choices sound good, too. The were out of pink frosted ones when I stopped in. Green didn’t look all that appealing to me, either.
